Touri Direct Terms of Service

The rules that govern off-platform bookings through Touri.

8 July 2026 · Version 1.0

These terms apply to operators taking bookings through Touri Direct. By responding to a Touri offer or booking on WhatsApp, the operator accepts these terms. They supplement the main Touri Guide Terms and, where they conflict, these Touri Direct terms take precedence.

01

What Touri Direct is

Touri Direct is a Touri operator mode in which Touri facilitates booking introductions via WhatsApp messaging. Touri does not process, hold, or guarantee any payment. The operator is solely responsible for collecting payment from the traveler.

02

Who can take bookings

The operator must be at least 18, legally authorised to offer tours where they operate, and hold every licence, registration, and insurance policy that local law requires for their tours. Touri may ask for proof at any time and may pause booking introductions until it is provided.

The operator must not be in a sanctioned country or region, or named on a sanctions list. Touri screens operators against international sanctions lists and removes anyone who appears on one.

03

Confirmation codes

When a booking is accepted, Touri issues a unique confirmation code to both the operator and the traveler. The operator must use the code when connecting with the traveler to verify identity and confirm the agreed price.

Touri is not responsible for losses arising from a failure to use the code for verification. Codes are single-use and must not be shared beyond the traveler named in the booking.

04

Payment collection

The operator is responsible for collecting payment from the traveler. Touri is not a party to that transaction, provides no escrow, and accepts no liability for non-payment or payment disputes.

The operator must not represent to the traveler that Touri has processed or holds their payment.

The operator must charge the agreed price only. The amount confirmed in the negotiation is the full price — no fees, deposits, or extras that weren't agreed — and payment must be collected by lawful means only.

Taxes on money collected are entirely the operator's responsibility. Touri does not withhold, report, or remit anything on the operator's behalf for Touri Direct bookings.

05

Cancellations

If a confirmed booking is cancelled before the tour date, the operator must notify partners@gotouri.com promptly.

If the operator cancels a confirmed booking, the operator must notify the traveler without delay.

06

Listing accuracy

The operator warrants that all listing information (price, capacity, duration, meeting point) is accurate and up to date. Touri may suspend or remove a listing if it receives complaints of material inaccuracy.

07

Safety and conduct

The operator must run tours safely and lawfully, and treat travelers with respect. Fraud, harassment, unsafe conduct, or any attempt to deceive a traveler ends participation immediately, and Touri may report it to the relevant authorities.

08

WhatsApp channel

Touri's messages to the operator are sent in good faith. The operator acknowledges that WhatsApp message delivery is not guaranteed by Touri.

Failure to receive a message due to carrier issues, device settings, or a blocked number does not affect the validity of a confirmed booking.

Touri Direct is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by WhatsApp or Meta. WhatsApp is a trademark of WhatsApp LLC. Touri sends messages over WhatsApp Business through third-party providers; WhatsApp and Meta have no responsibility for Touri Direct bookings.

09

Data

Information shared about travelers (name, group size, contact details) must be used only to deliver the booked experience. It must not be used for marketing or shared with third parties without explicit consent.

The operator must comply with applicable data protection law.

10

Termination

Either party may terminate the operator's Touri Direct participation with 14 days' written notice to partners@gotouri.com.

Touri may terminate immediately if the operator misrepresents listings, fails to deliver confirmed tours, or engages in conduct detrimental to travelers.

11

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If a dispute can't be resolved through partners@gotouri.com, it goes to binding arbitration under UNCITRAL rules, administered by the LCIA, seated in London, conducted in English.
